BIG FUN RUN VICTORIA PARK ROUTE
When you arrive, make your way to the start and finish area – look out for the Big Fun Run pyramid and you’ll know you’ve reached the right place. Dress code is fun so wear whatever you like – fancy dress is always welcome however a comfortable pair of trainers is a must! Our friendly event team will be there to welcome you and play some great tunes to get you in the mood for some fun.
Make sure that you arrive 15 minutes before the start to take part in the Big Fun Warm up. The event is not timed so don’t worry about rushing round. There will be signage and marshals along the route to cheer you on and make sure no-one goes the wrong way. Once you come through the finish line you will be greeted by our friendly MC and finish team who will give you a bottle of water, an event goody bag and your well deserved Big Fun Run medal. Remember your camera or phone and why not make your way to the Big Fun Run podium where you can take your picture along with anyone you’ve come with.
The run will start/finish near the disused running track at the south side of the park. Participants will then head off through this scenic park, the route takes full advantage of the wide pathways that cover this vast area of parkland. Victoria Park is one of London’s most important historic parks and it’s oldest public park. It has been used by millions of Londoners for nearly 170 years as a place of recreation, sports, play and relaxation.
There is no parking or vehicle access within Victoria Park. There is limited parking available along Cadogan Terrace and surrounding roads. You may have to walk 10-15 minutes to the starting area so plan your journey accordingly. Pedestrian access is available via all entrances. Runners are encouraged to consider public transport or car sharing. Underground and overground stations are within walking distance.
