Setting off at stunning Preston Park, the Brighton 50 is back this 2015! Challenge yourself in this 50 mile route where spectacular views over Brighton and the English Channel awaits you. This is suitable for all types of cyclists in all abilities and remember that road and hybrid bykes are recommended.
The Brighton 50 returns!
From the start at Preston Park the ride heads east along the South Coast to Newhaven then cuts inland following the river Ouse as it slices through the South Downs to historic Lewes, the county town of East Sussex. The 50 mile route cuts across at Ringmer and then crosses the Ouse into the Low Weald before heading west below the ridge of the South Downs to Hurstpierpoint. One final push past the 'Devil's Dyke' and its all downhill to the finish offering spectacular views over Brighton and the English Channel.
The route is all on road. Road or hybrid bike recommended.
