1st - 6th September 2015
3 CITIES – 2 WHEELS – 1 CAUSE. The 321 Challenge is a brand new and one-off event for our 30th Anniversary in 2015. The 321 Challenge covers 3 cities over 5 days, by bike, in aid of St. Rocco’s Hospice.
Pre-departure day: Cyclists will begin their journey at St. Rocco’s Hospice. From Warrington you will travel with the rest of Team Rocco down to London. Here, you will spend the night in the start-point hotel where you can sign in early, then relax and get to know the other cyclists.
Day 1: London to Harwich, followed by a ferry to the Hook of Holland.
Day 2: Hook of Holland to Amsterdam
Day 3: Amsterdam to Breda
Day 4: Breda to Brussels
Day 5: Brussels to London (Free morning followed by the Eurostar to London)
From London you will travel back up to Warrington, back to your final finish line at St. Rocco’s Hospice!
To take part in 321 you will need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1660. This amount may seem like a lot, but it covers all the tour costs, plus extras like accommodation on pre-departure day, transport to and from London, as well as your bike transfer to and from the capital city. From this amount, St. Rocco’s Hospice will receive £920, plus anything over the minimum which you raise!
A self-funding option is also available for this challenge of £740.
There is plenty of time to raise the sponsorship for the event, and we can help you out every step (or pedal!) of the way with different fundraising ideas and advice.
