Welcome to the inaugural 2015 High5 Buxton Beast Sportive, a non-competitive long distance cycling event offering participants three distances to challenge their individual ability.
Starting from the Barony Park in Nantwich, just 40 minutes from Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, this sportive takes in the Cheshire countryside before entering Derbyshire for the challenge of Buxton and the Peak District. A great way to see another part of the country, enjoy the unfamiliar scenery and the challenge, without having to look at a map at every junction!
Riding with like-minded people you will follow a clearly signed route choosing from three fun & challenging distances, with the added option of downloading the route using 'Ride with GPS' for the gadget of your choice. High5 Feed Stations will be well stocked and available on every route and Support Safety Vehicles will be on course to assist if necessary.
There will be attractions and facilities available at the park including hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets, showers, changing rooms, a play area with swings and slides that all make for a great day out for the family!
