RideLondon Grand Prix

The RideLondon Grand Prix is a series of criterium races that will take place in central London on the evening of Saturday 30 July 2016.

At the 2015 RideLondon Grand Prix, Italy's Barbara Guarischi stormed to victory in the pro women's race. The Velocio Sport rider out-sprinted defending champion Giorgia Bronzini and Shelley Olds to take the win. Read the 2015 race report here.

At the 2014 RideLondon Grand Prix pro women's race Team Wiggle Honda successfully defended its title when Giorgia Bronzini took the victory in a thrilling sprint finish ahead of world and Olympic champion Marianne Vos. 

At the inaugural RideLondon Grand Prix in 2013, Laura Trott – supported by her Team Wiggle Honda and Great Britain teammates Joanna Rowsell and Dani King – beat national criterium champion Hannah Barnes in a dramatic sprint finish on The Mall.

The RideLondon Grand Prix forms part of a programme of major events as a legacy for the capital from the Games. 

Keeping up the momentum for world-class sport in 2012, the latest addition to London’s bidding programme is the 2016 Track Cycling World Championships for the Olympic Velodrome, which itself will form part of the Lee Valley VeloPark and provide a further legacy from the Games as the world’s best cycling facility for professionals and enthusiasts alike, covering all four disciplines of track, road, mountain and bmx.
