Snowdon Trek Weekend

Sat 19th March, 07:00

This is a massive walk - at 1085m Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in wales and this trek offers some of the best views you could ever hope to see. This 17 mile adventure will take you to the peak of Snowdon as well as other mountains in and around the valleys of the National Park. The weekend is spread across two days with the first being something of a warm up where you will traverse the Glyderau which sits in the center of the park. You will then walk along a variety of the other mountains followed by a well deserved feast and preparation for the big climb.

Day two starts early and you will be taken right to the summit of Mount Snowdon. You should reach this within about two hours and then have plenty of rest time to enjoy the view before you begin your descent back down. The Welsh name for Snowdon is Yr Wyddfa and it is apparently the burial ground for a mythical giant - can you defeat it?
